Frequently Asked Questions
All orders are glazed upon order, then fired and shipped within 12-14 days. Depending on availability of the particular pieces in your order, turnaround time can be shorter or longer. Please allow 4-6 weeks for any custom order. To request a rush order, please contact us and we will do our best to meet your deadline.
We ship all products with love and care through either USPS Priority or UPS Ground. This will include insurance on the package and a tracking number that will be provided to you once your order is shipped.
Yes. We ship internationally through UPS International or USPS Priority International! However, because of higher shipping costs, International orders are not eligible for free shipping promotions. Also, be sure to check who is brokering your package to avoid high brokerage fees once your order arrives in your home country.
We do our very best to package all orders to withstand anything during transit; however, occasionally a piece will break. If this happens, please contact us and provide photos of the damaged piece(s). We will happily replace any damaged product at no charge.
We hate for any of our customers to be unhappy! Given the nature of handmade products, exchanges and returns can be tricky, but we strive to make any situation right. If you have an issue with your order, please reach out to us here and we will do our best to resolve it!
Yes, please do!! All RVPottery products are created with the intent of daily use. You will love how much they sparkle and shine after a good bath.
In the rare occasion that something stains, we use a mixture of equal parts vinegar, water, and baking soda and any stains should come straight off.
Every glaze we use at RVPottery has been carefully inspected and made in our studio. Our clay bodies and glazes are 100% food safe, and are free of all toxic materials and heavy metals.
All RVPottery pieces are made to our measurements to ensure consistency and cohesiveness across our entire collection. However, as a result of the handmade process and kiln firings, pieces may vary in size from their specified measurement by <0.5."
Yes. All pieces are hand thrown, trimmed, glazed, and fired here at RVPottery, and the added charm will show it. While we take pride in our consistency and cohesiveness, no two pieces will ever look exactly alike.
Our stock glaze colors and clays have been thoughtfully curated for their aesthetic and durability. For this reason, we typically only use these for our pieces. Of course, feel free to combine them in any way you desire.
